Maternity Shoot – Alena Photography Charleston

There are many beautiful locations in Charleston area for maternity shoot. Jennifer and Eric picked Shem Creek park in Mt. Pleasant as it had the most meaning to them.

This was my first time working at that location and I am in love. You can’t beat the sunset by the water! Depending on the weather, you get a light breeze and beautiful haze. Working outside definitely keeps me on my toes.

Knowing that my clients had their wedding pictures taken at the same place made me think creatively. Incorporating sun for some silhouette images and direct light for different style made this maternity shoot fun. Just look at this sunset?! Isn’t it amazing?!

Choosing my favorite photos for the gallery was hard. I am happy Jennifer had a trust in me to capture this special time. Pregnancy brings new meaning to life and shows how amazing woman’s body is.
