When your baby is born, it feels like the most incredible moment of your life. Seeing your baby for the first time, experiencing the whole new range of emotions, taking in their perfect face, little toes and fingers, soft fuzzy hair, you forget about yourself trying to memorize it all. Days go by and babies grow, those memories fade being replaced by the new once – time goes up too fast. Every day your little one grows more and more. Let Alena Photography capture those fleeting memories and happy moments.

Alena photography offers posed studio newborn photography, baby milestone photography, maternity photography, cake smash photo sessions and holiday family photos.
Alena infuses her photography with fun and caring energy. As a professional photographer of 4 years, Alena sees photography as more than a career. it’s her calling and true passion. She adores babies and kids and everything they bring: love, happiness, fun.

Posed newborn photo session in-studio is a styled type of session with use of gentle props and variety of poses designed around your vision and taste.

The best time to book your session is in the third trimester before your little one is born. This way I can save a day on my calendar and accommodate styling preferences. I only take a limited amount of sessions per week to allow maximum creativity . Let’s make sure I have your session on the calendar before the birth so that you don’t have to think about it once the baby is here.

Your due date will be your approximate session day until the baby is born. Once the baby is here just let me know in a timely manner and we will pick a date that is suitable for both of our schedules. Sessions can be scheduled Monday-Friday. Weekend availability is limited to 2 weekends per month.

I prefer for babies to be between 5 and 21 days of age to achieve all those curly sleepy poses you see on my website. Time got away and your baby is older than 3  weeks? No problem, I have a lot of experience photographing older newborns up to 6 weeks of age.

Absolutely! The whole family is encouraged to participate. Photographing your new baby surrounded by family is the center of your newborn session and a wonderful experience for everyone. You will want to book a Simple or Deluxe session for the full family.

Newborn photo session can last from 45 minutes to 3 hours and will depend on the package you choose.

Alena Photography will provide all needed props, headbands, outfits, bonnets for the session. Have an outfit to bring with you? Please let me know in advance and limit yourself to one outfit of your choice.

All images are uploaded to a secure private online gallery where you will be able to choose your favorites to keep.
You will receive a preview gallery 3 days after the session where you will be able to choose your favorites for further editing. My production time is 3 weeks from the day you finalize your chosen images for editing.
