Maternity pictures: locations to consider

The time has to come to think about maternity pictures. How would like the photos to look? Where will you feel comfortable? Is beach or a park your favorites? Charleston has many wonderful locations to choose from. These 6 make the list of my all time favorites

Folly Beach or Morris Island Breach Inlet https://www.follybeach.com https://savethelight.org

Miles and miles of pristine beach, warm weather, beautiful sunsets or sunrises make this location one of the most popular.

This location features river and marsh views, majestic oaks and magnolias, 80 acres of English park gardens. Park does require to obtain a permit for photography and charges 25$ application fee.

3. Riverfront park https://www.northcharleston.org/visitors/attractions/riverfront-park/

Set on the banks of the beautiful Cooper River and surrounded by graceful grand oaks and peaceful vistas, the easily accessible, picturesque park is adjacent to beautifully restored historic homes makes a great location for maternity pictures.

5. Hampton Park https://www.charleston-sc.gov/Facilities/Facility/Details/81

Hampton Park is one of the City of Charleston’s largest parks. It boasts the most extensive floral displays of any park in the city. An old rose collection and seasonal displays are planted by the staff and volunteers caring for the park. This neighborhood park has a rich history recently documented through a project of the Charleston Horticultural Society, an audio walking tour called Layers of the Landscape.

6. Downtown Charleston

being one of the oldest cities in US Charleston boasts a lot of different background options for the session. Cobblestone streets, old buildings and churches, boardwalk and parks make it a popular and versatile location.
