A newborn photoshoot at home can be a beautiful way to capture those early moments. I often get asked if I can do these kind of sessions but with a studio portion included. I am glad to be able to bring my studio to clients home and set up a studio. There are many advantages of having a hybrid newborn photo session as I call them.

Your home provides comfort and familiar environment for you and the baby, redusing stress for parents and a newborn. It also gives clients a chance to showcase their nursery decor and family heirlooms.

I designed hybrid newborn photo sessions with clients  convenience in mind. New parents  don’t have to travel to the studio, making it easier during those first few weeks after baby’s birth.

Every home is different and help  me to incorporate personal items and backgrounds that hold sentimental value to your family, creating unique and meaningful backdrop for the photos.

Lifestyle and studio photoshoot

I  usually divided at home newborn sessions in two parts: lifestyle and studio.

During lifestyle portion of the session I will include the whole family incorporating the house as a backdrop. I can’t recommend enough for everyone to get involved – from grand parents to pets. Let’s create meaningful portraits for the whole family.

Studio portions of the photoshoot will need some set up and planning. I bring my lighting equipment and props that parents usually pick before hand during consultation. It is important to choose colors and props that will flow seamlessly with parents vision and fit the house decor. After all, those pictures are going to be printed and decorating the walls for everyone to see.
